Australia Software Technology Privacy Policy

Australia Software Technology (AST) (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates ast-workspace.com (hereinafter referred to as “Service”). 

When we refer to ‘you’ in this policy we will generally make it clear which ‘you’ we are referring to – so either as an Employee, a Visitor or as a Website User.

Australia Software Technology (AST) is based in Subic Bay, Philippines. The company was born to provide and lead as an innovative technology organization that will sustain the manual processing of every workloads of the people.

AST-Kiosk and AST-Mobile is one of our software products.

Our Privacy Policy governs your visit to ast-workspace.com, and explains how we collect, safeguard and disclose information that results from your use of our Service.

We use your data to provide and improve Service. By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, the terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.

Australia Software Technology is committed to providing quality services to you and this policy outlines are ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information. AST will only collect, record, store, disclose, transfer and use your personal information as outlined below. We shall therefore only use your name and other information, which relates to you in the manner set out in this Privacy Policy. We will only collect information where it is necessary for us to do so and we will only collect information if it is relevant to our dealings with you.

This privacy policy explains how we collect, use and, in certain circumstances, share personal information that is collected:

  • as an AST-Kiosk employee using the software (Employee)
  • as an AST-Kiosk client using the software (Client / Customer)
  • as a result of you logging-in using AST-Kiosk at one of our company’s sites (Visitor)

We may change this policy to keep it up to date with legal requirements by uploading a revised policy onto our website.

SERVICE means the www.ast-workspace.com website operated by AST-Kiosk.

PERSONAL DATA means data about a living individual who can be identified from those data (or from those and other information either in our possession or likely to come into our possession).

USAGE DATA is data collected automatically either generated by the use of Service or from Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

AST IT Support staff will be able to access your account for the purpose of providing you with customer service.

To improve our services – we continue to improve the AST-Kiosk service based on feedback received.

Australia Software Technology will take all the steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

Your Data Protection Rights under the California Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)

CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. The law’s reach stretches well beyond California to require a person or company in the United States (and conceivable the world) that operates websites collecting personally identifiable information from California consumers to post a conspicuous privacy policy on its website stating exactly the information being collected and those individuals with whom it is being shared, and to comply with this policy.

According to CalOPPA we agree to the following:

1. users can visit our site anonymously;
2. our Privacy Policy link includes the word “Privacy”, and can easily be found on the homepage of our website;
3. users will be notified of any privacy policy changes on our Privacy Policy Page;
4. users are able to change their personal information by emailing us at ast.it.supp@gmail.com.

Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not intended for use by children under the age of 18 (“Child” or “Children”).

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from Children under 18. If you become aware that a Child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from Children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
